Waxy v2.0

I’d like to give everyone a sneak preview of my newest and greatest project, currently 19 weeks in development… With a tentative release date of June 13, I’m proud to announce Waxy v2.0!

The doctors say he’s perfectly healthy, and my wife started to feel him move actively in the last week or so. (We’ve picked out a name, but we’re still working out the spelling.) I’m joyous and terrified and wistful and optimistic, often all at once.

Mostly, I’m just excited that I’ll have someone to play video games with!

    Get your movie watching and dining out going into full steam. Once 2.0 arrives, you won’t have the time or energy.

    That ultrasound looks suspiciously Geigeresque – are you sure your wife wasn’t attacked by a facesucker from the movie Alien?

    Many congratulations to you both Andy! My little Boy turns One Year Old tomorrow, so I can tell you from fresh experience that your world is about to change in a very big way. (in a good way, y’know).

    You need to get those 3D Ultrasound pictures – easier to remix, and maybe your boy can use the data as a bizarre avatar in Quake V, or whatever you end up playing with him.

    2. wow, that’s awesome video. we just went for our second ultrasound, and all we got was one 3D still. And peace of mind, of course. But POM+4D>POM.

    3. Careful spelling choices for the baby’s name may ensure domain name availability, too, of course.

    Andy, reading the abstract I thought it was a new site launch as well. Being the curious sort, I clicked through. And as the movie started, I thought boy he is really going to great lengths with this metaphor…

    I’ve seen many sonograms in my lifetime, but they still have the ability to give me goosebumps. It’s almost surreal.

    I’m going to be a grandmother. That’s impossible, I’m too young to be a grandmother. All kidding aside, I couldn’t be happier, or more proud.

    Congrats – that’s great. My son is 15 months old now . It truly is the most challenging and most rewarding thing you’ll ever do.

    I have to say, I think that having a child solely to have someone to play videogames with is a pretty reasonable excuse. Congrats.

    Nice, Andy and Mrs. Andy! It’s nice that us bloggers are not such geeks that we can’t reproduce. A good omen to the long-term health of the field.

    Mostly, I’m just excited that I’ll have someone to play video games with……….H A!!!! YOu think you will have someone to play video games with. Much to your chagrin, you will not be playing video games with your “new buddy to be”, for you will not be allowed anywhere near the games once the “offspring” lay their hands on it. Ownership of everything in your life switches from “used to be Andies” to “juniors game,juniors house, juniors “MOM”…..yes, even ownership of your wife changes hands due to this usurper who you so anxiously await. LOL

    Some have mentioned how your life will change and I must admit that wiping poopy butts was not what I was thinking of when I had my graduation picture snapped!
